At age 15, Dae Hyun decided to walk out

of the infamous school system in South Korea.

Shortly after, he boarded on a plane by himself

to the unknown land of Cambodia and later the US,

where his filmmaking career began

with Live Nation in Los Angeles.

​

With his roots in Korean culture and empathy for youth,

Dae Hyun brings an indomitable K-charm to his works.

​

He is the first Korean director to be full-time represented

by a global directors' group Director's Think Tank

based in Malaysia and greater Southeast Asian region.

Off the set, he uses his voice to narrate

the greatest moments in Kpop history

for the global Kpop culture podcast <Kpop Klub>,

bridging between the worldwide K-culture craze

and exclusive industry insights.
